The Outer Banks Presbyterian Church invites you to attend an evening of piano/organ music on Sunday, August 15 at 5 pm at the church. This concert will feature Jason Evans, Director of Music Ministries of Outer Banks Presbyterian Church and Michael Morgan, Director of Music Ministries at Edenton Baptist Church.

Come on out and bring a friend and enjoy an evening of piano/organ duets, a piano duet, an organ duet and solo works on both organ and piano. The repertoire will feature well loved hymns of faith! Who knows, you might just get to sing a little bit too!!

Michael Morgan joined EBC’s staff in October 2015. A native of Shawboro, NC, he attended College of the Albemarle and Campbell University, studying sacred music with an emphasis in organ under a number of accomplished professors and musicians. Prior to coming to Edenton, Michael served as Director of Music Ministries and Organist for more than twelve years at First Presbyterian Church of Washington. He has played the organ since he was sixteen, and believes that “music is the universal language that touches all, regardless of race, creed, or color.”

Jason Evans, originally from Edenton, NC, grew up in Kill Devil Hills, joined the staff in June of 2007 as the Director of Music Ministries/Organist at Outer Banks Presbyterian Church. He also coordinates all music as well as Easter, Patriotic and Christmas Musicals using a combined choir and orchestra.   Jason is a graduate of Wanchese Christian Academy and continued his education at Virginia Wesleyan University earning a BA MUS in Organ performance and Sacred Music.  Prior to Jason joining the staff of Outer Banks Presbyterian Church, he served as Pianist/Music Assistant at First Baptist Church of Norfolk, VA for 13 years where he accompanied the 300-Voice Sanctuary Choir and 50-piece Orchestra and was the administrator of the church's Conservatory of Fine Arts.

The public is cordially invited to attend. A freewill love offering will be taken in support of the musicians. Outer Banks Presbyterian is located at Milepost 8.5 on the bypass, 907 S. Croatan Highway, Kill Devil Hills, NC. For more information, you may call the church at (252) 441-5897 or visit them on the web at www.outerbankspresbyterian.org.
