The Outer Banks Presbyterian Chapter of Presbyterian Women began in 1983 and has continued, uninterrupted, to serve the women of this church and the community.  The over 30 active members are divided between three circles that meet once a month in member's homes.  For more information about Presbyterian Women, please contact one of the Co-Moderators.  Linda Campbell (Dorcas) may be reached at (412) 882-7217 or you may contact Bev Jones (Lydia) at (252) 423-7217 or you may contact Lisa Rhodes (Hope, Faith & Love) at (252) 441-4615.

  • The Dorcas Circle meets the First Thursday of the month at 9:30 am.  For more information regarding the Dorcas Circle, please contact Linda Campbell.
  • The Hope, Faith & Love Circle meets the Second Thursday evening of the month at 5:30 pm at the church, please contact Lisa Rhodes.
  • The Lydia Circle meets the Second Wednesday of the month at 9:30 am.  For more information regarding the Lydia Circle, please contact Bev Jones.

  • To nurture faith through prayer and Bible study
  • To support the mission of the church worldwide
  • To work for justice and peace
  • To build a caring community of women

Meetings begin and end with laughter, camaraderie, and chatting.  This social time binds us in sisterhood.  After the mingling, we settle into prayer and raise up our concerns for our church family.  Each year a thematic Bible Study is provided.  After completing the lesson, we hold our business meeting where we discuss our work in the church or community.  Presbyterian Women operates independently from the church budget and is funded through nominal monthly donations to circles.
